A slumber party together with sloths

sleeping with sloths

Nope, this is not a joke! “A sleepover with sloths in the United States: at the Zoological Wildlife Conservation Center in Oregon.” says National Geographic.

Do you love this slow, lazy creatures who are too cute? Sleep a night between the sloths in their accommodation at the conservation center, which is dedicated to saving the sloths.

 Some extra hours of sleep

For about $ 600 you book a one night stay for two people in the camp. From 20:00 pm to 7:30 am you have time to observe the sloths. But it is not allowed to speak or to touch the animal so unfortunately you can not cuddle with them.

Wanneer de dieren slapen, kan je een boek lezen, lekker ontspannen of misschien kan je zelf ook wat extra uurtjes slaap mee pakken door je aan te passen aan het slaapritme van je bed partner de luiaard. Win-win situatie toch?

When the animals are sleeping, you can read a book, relax or maybe you can get some extra hours of sleep. Just adjust to the sleep rhythm of your bed partner named sloth. Win-win situation!

Or rather feeding a Sloth?

Visitors can also book an educational meeting with a sloth. For $100 per person you can feed a sloth. But beware at all times is the importance of the sloths are in the first place.
