In one of the oldest historical streets of Breda, you can find Yirga. On their website they say Yirga is the livingroom of Breda. A place where you can hop by for good food and a good cup of coffee. Make yourself comfortable and feel yourself at home! When you enter Yirga, you immediately feel you’re at home. It’s really cosy and relaxed place. Yirga is relatively small but with enough space for a few people. They have tables to eat at, low chairs for hanging out and a big table for people to read a newspaper or to work on. Because of the small space, the open kitchen and the lovely plants, lamps and lots of different furniture, you really get a livingroom kind of vibe. Apart from all that, the owners are really nice and are open for a little chit chat.
Everyday you can get the most delicious coffee and tea at Yirga. We tested the cappuccino and we can tell you: it was reaaaaally good! On their website they also tell you good food makes you remind of home. Something Yirga has is good food. They have a small menu but very different dishes. For the people who don’t like to get up early: Yirga serves breakfast all day! Apart from breakfast, they have different kind of sandwiches, soups and salads. If you can’t pick one out of these three, they have a lunch special. You can have half a sandwich of your choice, a little soup and a salad. Last but not least, they have lots of treats. For example: cheescake, carrotcake and brownie, yum!
For the people who can’t eat gluten or lactose: don’t worry! They have gluten and lactose free options as well! Don’t think there is any reason not to check out Yirga, so what are you waiting for!
